Enter Jb Wines - Joseph’s Pinot Blanc, crafted using grapes grown at an altitude of 350-400 metres. It is an uncommon variety here in Australia, but that’s what has attracted me to this winery in the first place. It has some really interesting, unusual and less common grape varietals under vine including Pinot blanc, Clairette, Zinfandel, Pinot Meunier and White Frontignac- along with some more usual staples, including Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Made by 6th generation winemaker Joe Barritt, this wine is a lighter style of Pinot Blanc, beautifully aromatic, offering up a generous dose of fresh citrus and stone fruit on the palate, complimented by refreshing high acidity. It’s retained a generous mouth feel and has a lovely finish. This is a wine that would pair well with seafood, but you know… it's enjoyable on its own too! @shirazzmatazz, @jb_wines Instagram

JB Wines #barossavalley ‘Future Perfect’, a rare blend of #syrah #primitivo from both 2010 & 2011 vintages – designed so as to make a silky smooth, big bodied, rich wine with lashings of flavour and is divine, lingering finish. ALLURING & BLOODY GORGEOUS!! ‘remember don’t take life too seriously… #ChooseAustralianWine. Dan Traucki, JB Wines Facebook

I'm excited about tonight's wine - a vintage 2016 Clairette from 6th generation winemaker Joe Barritt of Barossa valley. Native to France and one of the thirteen grape varieties permitted in the Cháteneuf-du Pape appellation. Clairette is a rare find in Australia, there being only four producers of the varietal this present day. Its flavour profile is quite unusual, with appealing fruit sweetness on the front palate, with savoury notes on the back palate and a refreshing finish... An interesting wine and well suited to relaxing on the weekend. Cheers for the lovely vino and @mcveanster for collecting it. Much obliged. @shirazzmatazz, @jb_wines Instagram
